Griff 9 Month Update
Griff turned 9 months yesterday. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he’s nearing 1 year old. Time is going by so quickly!
Griff went to his 9 month well baby checkup yesterday, which is why this post is late (haha). He weighs 20 pounds, 11 ounces and is in the 75th percentile for height. We always get stopped everywhere we go because people can’t believe how big he is. Once I explain that my husband is 6’6″, it all makes sense. 😂
We had a lot of adventures in this past month. We took a few trips home to Michigan, California, and Florida. This baby can honestly say he’s touched both sides of the country before he turned one. 😳
We’ve grown by 4 teeth since last month! We like to joke and say his vampire teeth have come in by Halloween. So this should also tell you how teething has been going. WOW. Poor buddy has been hurting, but he’s still his happy, chill self.
We aren’t suuuuper interested in crawling or big people food, but we love our walker and teething crackers, haha. I have to force him to try things, he usually makes an ugly face at first but he slowly starts to like it. My mom says I was the exact same way. Let’s hope he’s not a picky eater like his mama.
As learned to stick our tongue out and we’re talking a lot with our hands. He’s become very vocal and passionate! Lovey (my mom) also gave Griff his third hair cut.
Griff loves to read books. He always acts surprised when the pages turn. 😂 He also loves his little fishing pole and his laptop that plays the ABC’s. He’s the biggest cuddle bug, and loves to give hugs and kisses. I hope that never changes. ❤️
This is all for this month! Check back next month for the 10 month update. 💛
