Meet Baby Griff + Nursery Reveal

Happy Tuesday! Meet John Griffith Thomas IV! Today I’m sharing our newborn pictures with you, along with pictures of Griff’s nursery.

Griff was born on January 21st, 2019 at 4:23 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz, and was 20 inches long. The delivery was an amazing experience with no complications (thank you, epidural 🙌🏻).

He’s a happy and healthy baby boy! All I wanted was for him to have chubby cheeks and a lot of hair, and that’s exactly what we got!

I wanted to share a few pieces of Griff’s nursery with you. I’ve had so many messages asking to see the room, and to be honest, I didn’t have it finished until the day I went into labor. Another fun fact: we recently moved! We are in a bigger place for both our babies (Rosie too!) and we rushed to get the place ready before Griff’s arrival.

I chose this Graco Remi 4 in 1 crib because it can convert into a toddler bed and has a changing table and four large drawers included with it. So far, we love it! It took a little while to put together, but it looks perfect in his room.

Over his crib, I wanted to find lyrics to Bob Dylan’s Forever Young. I’m a huge fan of the show Parenthood, and have always loved this song and thought it would be perfect in a little boy’s room. I found this sign at Smallwoods at a major discount. This is the XL size.

The garland I found at a local goodwill, but here’s a similar one from Wayfair!

We wanted to do Griff’s room in forest animals. My mom got us the Animals of the Woodlands sign from Hobby Lobby, and my aunt got him the baby animal pictures from Etsy. The deer antlers are another goodwill find.

Griff’s moose hooks were another Hobby Lobby find from my Nana, and the globe was given to us from Johnny’s mom. I had to put out my favorite Michigan book from my best friend, M is for Mitten.

We’re so in love with our little man! Thank you so much for all the kind messages for our growing family! Can’t wait to be back to blogging more great finds for you all. ❤️ Thanks to Abbeigh Blake Photography for the beautiful photos!

Always, Aleesha
