What I’m Packing for Spring Break

Hello, friends! Today on he blog I’m sharing what I am packing in my suitcase to bring on vacation!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I am heading to Anna Maria Island in Florida for the next week! I am so, so excited for some fun in the sun. I’m also really excited because we are meeting my entire family down there to celebrate my Nana and Papa’s 50th wedding anniversary! I haven’t seen my family since Thanksgiving, and I miss them so much. I can’t wait to spend a week together.

We plan on being in the sun, shopping and going out to dinner. I’ll be sharing all of my outfits with you during the week, but I thought I’d give you a sneak peek of a few packing essentials that I’ll be bringing with me! I’m going to break it down for you by beauty products and clothing/swim.

Aleesha on the beach all day = little to no makeup. Here’s what I plan on using on my face during the week.

Burts Bees Daily Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin

I’ve shared this product with you before, but it is my absolute favorite! Because I work from home, that means I don’t wear makeup most days. I put this moisturizer on my face 2-3 times a day, because I love how it makes my skin feel. Living in Colorado, your skin gets so dry. This leaves my skin glowing, and helps to keep my makeup on for longer.

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer

Again, this is another product I have shared with you before. I love this product because it makes my skin looked bronze without looking orange. Plus, it smells like your favorite coconut drink on the beach. It smells so amazing, and has a little bit of shimmer to it as well.

Stila Cosmetics Huge Extreme Lash Mascara

AGAIN, this is another product that I’ve shared with you all–but I don’t even feel bad about it. I am totally and completely obsessed with this mascara. I have naturally long eyelashes, but this formula makes them even thicker and longer!

gloskin Beauty Shimmer Brick

I told you all about this product in my Friday Favorites post last week, and this is going to be one of the only makeup products I bring with me on this trip. There’s four different shades in the brick, and all of them are so beautiful on the skin.

415 Cali Tan Extender

I need my tan to last me until next year (I’m serious, haha). I have been using this lotion now and will continue to use it during vacation to extend my tan’s lifespan.

Forever 21 Halter Bikini Top and Mesh Bikini Bottoms

Raise your hand if you hate shopping for swimsuits… 🙂 Don’t worry, my hand is raised too. I’ll be real with you–I think spending money on swimsuits is such a waste of money. So, I only buy swimsuits probably every other year. This is this years swimsuit! I found this high leg/halter top swimsuit that I thought would be really flattering on my body. I think the white will look so great with a tan too! Plus, both pieces only cost me about $30, and that’s worth it to me.

Oh Hey Vacay Old Navy Graphic Tee

You know the second I saw this I said, “sold!” If you’re heading out on vacation at all in the next few months, you need this top! Plus, it’s on sale right now for only $10!

Vionic Veranda Backstrap Sandal

Vionic Shoes were kind enough to send me over a new pair of their sandals, and I can’t wait to bring them to Florida with me. They are seriously the most comfortable pair of sandals I’ve ever owned because they support your arch. These will be perfect when we’re walking around from store to store while shopping!

Palm Dress

I found this while scrolling through Amazon one day and absolutely fell in love with it. Then, it came in the mail and fell even more in love! It’s really great quality, and the best part is that it’s only $15.99! Can’t wait to wear it out for dinner on the beach.

  1. Hi Aleesha!
I love Amazon dresses, there is such a huge variety and the prices I love even more(: The one you chose for your trip looks perfect for a Florida vacation. I would love to see the different ways you styled it!
