Friday Favorites 3.16.18
Happy Friday, friends! Has it felt like the longest week to anyone else?!
I didn’t really leave my house much this week (hahaha), but it was the exact self-care that I needed. I still managed to find a few favorite things from this week to share with you! Outfit details from the picture above will be at the bottom of blog!
Let’s get started.
Johnny and I have made a plan to go to a new restaurant in Denver every week. Brunch is our absolute favorite, so we usually try to find something after church. Last week, we had something different in mind–but the wait was so long. So we left and found Bread-N-Butter, and we were not disappointed. Johnny and I like to get our own dishes and then switch half way through the meal. We had chicken and waffles (which is our all-time fav) and a smothered breakfast burrito that rocked our worlds. The best part was that it wasn’t that busy–we almost had the whole place to ourselves! They describe themselves as comfort American food with a southern flair. They also have a full bar, and serve lunch and dinner as well. If you’re in Denver, you need to try this place!
I’ve almost finished decorating the apartment (post on that coming soon)! The one thing in my bedroom that I absolutely love is our bedding. This is the Anthropologie Rivulets quilt in light grey. We received this as a gift from our wedding–and every time someone comes over, we always get a compliment about our bed. I seriously love this quilt, and love that I’ll be able to use it for a long, long time.
This is another Trader Joe’s find that I have been obsessed with. I started drinking kombucha a few months ago for the health benefits (good for your gut!). By far, this has been my favorite flavor and brand of kombucha. It’s so tasty! If you’re on the edge about trying kombucha–this is a great place to start.
Something Styled Events — Succulents and Sips
This was SO much fun! Last Saturday, I went to an event at Something Styled Events called Succulents and Sips. The girls who work at this company are so sweet and helpful! I’ve used Something Styled in a few of my wedding articles, so I was excited to attend one of their classes. They had their entire shop decorated so cute, and we were all provided a pot, the dirt we needed, and succulents. They also had cupcakes, special drinks (cactus juice!) and brought in a professional photographer. It was a great way to get to know other ladies who were at the class, and just have a fun time together. Their next class is in April and it’s called Donuts and Dahlias–can’t wait to bring my girlfriends next time! If you’re in the Denver area and are looking for something fun to do with your friends, this is a great idea!
Thanks for reading! Hope you all have a great weekend!
